You know, it's a bar and grill on a lake! They got decent bar food! I haven't had the prime rib or breakfast! Great service but could be long wait times in a to-go order so think ahead, if your close and just want to pop in to get a salad and bowl of chowder that's a 5 second wait! Chowder had ample clams, and potatoes cut smaller- with a good amount but not to many sautéed veggies; celery, onion... super creamy, yellowish base, assuming from the large amount of butter I tasted in the chowder, reminded me of a cream of celery flavored base, but I love celery. I also tend to feel nausea after chowder, not sure if it's the cream or salt or even the clams or in some cases MSG, not here though!!! Bowl of chowder, side salad and a roll was ample for dinner, hmmm, I can't wait to get more now! If you like your chowder to taste like cream, the white cream per se, Ivar's, you won't really get that, more buttery here, I'm sorry I can't recall if there was bacon in this one but if there was I don't recall tasting it.

Oh we've gotten pizza here for lunch, I'm pretty certain the crust is premade, like that at the drive in, but guess what, I LOVE CHEAP THIN CRISP pizza crust!  Ask for extra crispy if that's what you want! Ordered a large Hawaiian add peps at $22 it was pricy though heavy! Standard canned sauce (I'm assuming not complaining), lots of meat and a huge amount of cheese, so if you don't like a lots cheese like me, ask for light. Amount of sauce was perfect. It's a good pizza for pizza night with the kids or date night or for fishing down in the lake, I mean it's not Luigi from Italy in the back, but mama mia grab some hot sauce and have a slice! I did have to recut it which isn't convenient on the go but will I order again, prob lots as the canal is our fishing grounds! CHEERS!

One of the worst experiences in a long time! Seeing a photo of the view of the water in the dining area we chose to go here.  The view was  spectacular. Lots of nice homes with plenty of water activity going on. However when we got there we immediately questioned our choice. You walk into a hallway skirting around a bar to a 10 table  family dining area. Six tables full, three dirty,  so our choice was easy. We were by the corner by the window. The table was extremely sticky. At first there were a few full grown flies at our table. My mate pointed out four more flies above me on my window. Luckily i was on my side because there was five more flies on their window! Nine flies at a two person table seems a bit much. We tried to open our windows to let some out but no luck they are fixed shut!
Over 10 minutes to take our drink order. By that time a fly had landed on my head and my nose!!! I was grossed out! 5 minutes later we had our drinks and ordered food. From the time we sat until we got food was 41 MINUTES!!! No offer for refills or even a polite excuse for the long wait, not even a glance over in all that time. I had a teriyaki chicken burger. The lover had a burger. Fries were served cold, the teriyucky burger tasted like doodoo. The restroom was nasty gross dirty and reeked of stale semen. Highly recommend if you are desparate enough to eat here please eat in the bar so you can cleanse yourself with alcohol.

I've been here so many times! My family
Live up here. I'm from LA a total city slicker. I hate the country! They can get me to shut up by taking me to swim at the lake and drink some fresh Coronas and enjoy some Mozzarella sticks and a salad. I highly suggest coming here. They have TVs for the games and some gambling thing that I have no idea how to play cause I'm usually outside.

This is a great little family owned business. It is a small older and sweet building located on a beautiful lake with an outdoor seating option and dock. Whether you want to meet some friends in the bar, hold a small meeting, or visit with your family for a meal you are covered. The food is delicious (spencer chips ftw) portions generous and the prices are fair. I am thankful to live in the sticks and still have somewhere close to go out to. It is a beautiful drive to location if you are farther away too ;-)
